Mr Chew Hua Seng
Chairman & CEO

Mr Chew Hua Seng is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of RafflesEducationCorp. He established the Group’s first design college in 1990, offering only fashion-related courses. Under his leadership, the Group has grown from a local design college to one of Asia Pacific’s premier creative design and management education group, with 29 colleges across the region.

Instrumental in the Group’s acquisitions and subsequent turnaround of Hartford Holdings Limited in 2005, he has led the Group to acquire stakes in Oriental Century Limited, China Education Limited, Shanghai Zhongfa Education and Oriental University City.

Dr Tan Chin Nam
Independent Director

Dr Tan Chin Nam had 33 years of distinguished service in the Singapore Civil Service, having held key appointments such as Managing Director of the Economic Development Board and Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board. He is currently the Chairman of the Media Development Authority of Singapore, the Board of Temasek Management Services Pte Ltd and Resource and Advisory Panel for One North (Singapore’s next generation science park for biomedical sciences, infocomm technology and media industries development). Dr Tan is also a director of Stamford Land Corporation Ltd and Yeo Hiap Seng Ltd, both listed on the SGX, and PSA International Pte Ltd.

Dr Tan graduated from the University of Newcastle, Australia with first degrees in Industrial Engineering and Economics and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom. He has a Honorary Doctor of Letters Degree conferred by the University of Bradford and a Honorary Doctor of Engineering Degree conferred by the University of Newcastle.

Mr Henry Tan Song Kok

Mr Henry Tan Song Kok is senior partner of Nexia Tan & Sitoh, a firm of Certified Public Accountants and the Chairman of Nexia China. He is also the Asia Pacific Regional Chairman and Board member of Nexia International. Mr Tan is also a director of YHI International Limited, Chosen Holdings Limited, Pertama Holdings Limited and Nera Electronics Ltd. He graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Accountancy from the National University of Singapore. Mr Tan is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Singapore, Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Institute of Internal Auditors, Inc (Singapore Chapter) and Singapore Institute of Directors.

Prof Tan Teck Meng

Prof Tan Teck Meng graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from University of Singapore and a Master of Commerce (Honours) from University of New South Wales, Australia. He was conferred an Honorary PhD from Liaoning University, China. He is a fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Singapore; the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators; the Australian Society of CPAs and the Chartered Institute of Management, UK. Professor Tan also sits on the Boards of K1 Ventures Limited, Kim Eng Holdings Limited, Singapore Reinsurance Corporation Limited and Singapore Shipping Corporation Limited.

Mr Teo Cheng Lok John

Mr John Teo has been in public accounting practice since 1981. He is a Founder and a Senior Partner of TeoFoongWongLCLoong and Baker Tilly TFWLCL. Mr Teo qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Singapore, Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Australia and a member of the Chartered Management Institute, UK.

Mr Lim Tien Lock, Christopher

Mr Lim Tien Lock, Christopher is the Group Executive Director of Hotel Properties Limited. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He is principally responsible for finance, property, business development and investment functions of the HPL Group. Prior to joining HPL in 1989, Mr Lim held the position of Director and Head of Corporate Finance of N M Rothschild & sons (Singapore) Limited with 10 years of experience in the field of investment banking.
